No kidding! Do not tell me you have not been overwhelmed by the incomparable strength of Yo-Kai Watch, anime series, video games, merchandising with dizzying numbers around the world and now also in Italy thanks to Hasbro!
Andiamo con ordine però. Cosa sono gli Yo-kai? Sono degli spiriti, demoni o comunque creature mitologiche della fulgida mitologia nipponica. Ma non tutti sono uguali: vi sono quelli malvagi, quelli ingannatori, ma anche quelli generosi o audaci. La trasposizione anime di questi leggendari spiritelli giapponesi, segue proprio questo solco narrando la storia di un ragazzino, Nathan, che, dopo aver liberato lo Yo-Kai Whisper, riceve in dono in segno di ringraziamento uno Yo-Kai Watch, un orologio grazie al quale Nathan può scovare gli Yo-Kai più disparati.
But let's go with order. What are the Yo-kai? They are spirits, demons or other mythological creatures of the brilliant Japanese mythology. But not all are equal: there are evil ones, those deceivers, but also generous and audacious. The Anime Transposition of these legendary Japanese spirits, follows precisely this groove narrating the story of a boy, Nathan, who, having freed the Yo-Kai Whisper, receives a gift in thanks one Yo-Kai Watch, a watch thanks to Nathan which can flush out the Yo-Kai disparate.
Avremo così modo di conoscere una serie impressionante di spiritelli che Nethan dovrà affrontare cercando di capire il motivo di alcuni loro comportamenti: avremo quindi il gatto Jibanyan che cerca di distruggere auto agli incroci dopo essere stato travolto da un’auto. Dimenticap, un demone a forma di cappello che provoca amnesie dopo essere stato messo in soffitta dalla sua padrona. Ma ce ne sono davvero tantissimi passando dai fratelli Komasan e Komagiro,da Leofuoco a Nonno Fame, da Malandro a Robonyan e Shogunyan il gatto samurai.

Ma come dicevo, Yo-Kai Watch non è solo una serie anime, ma un fenomeno globale presente anche nel settore merchandising, videoludico e dei giocattoli (anche se chiamarli giocattoli è ampiamente riduttivo).
Ed è proprio dei “giocattoli” che voglio parlarvi: la mia bimba seguendo la serie anime di Yo-Kai Watch ha iniziato a chiedere, con una certa insistenza, l’orologio Yo-Kai Watch, un orologio che, inserite delle medaglie nell’apposito alloggiamento, emette un messaggio vocale che vi comunica la tribù dello Yo-Kai selezionato (Generosi, Oscuri, Audaci, Tosti, Sfuggenti, Misteriosi, Splendidi e Spaventatutti), il nome dello Yo-Kai etc.. Bene, presa da sfinimento, orologio, con le due medaglie di Jibanyan e Whisper a corredo, acquistato.
But as I said, Yo-Kai Watch is not only a anime series, but also a global phenomenon in the merchandising sector, the games and toys (although to call them toys is widely reductive).
And I'll just talk about "toys": my baby following the anime series Yo-Kai Watch has started to ask, with some insistence, the Yo-Kai Watch clock, a clock that, inserted medals in the slot, a voice prompt tells you the tribe of Yo-Kai selected (Eerie, Brave, Mysterious, Tough, Slippery, Heartful, Charming, Shady, Boss Yo-Kai and Kaima), the name of the Yo-Kai etc...  Well, taken from exhaustion, clock, with two medals of Jibanyan and Whisper in the outfit bought.
Bimba felice, ma ieri, in occasione del suo sesto compleanno, quella felicità è divenuta assoluta gioia: ho finalmente trovato in Italia in uno store della catena Gamestop, le blind bag contenenti le medaglie dei vari Yo-Kai e due action figure, Jibanyan e Komasan: tutto davvero ben fatto e carinissimo! Risultato? Un giorno intero ad ascoltare i canti di battaglia delle varie tribù Yo-Kai, ma anche un sorriso infinito sul visino della mia bimba…. a volte penso che anche lei sia uno Yo-Kai, di quelli che ti riempiono di felicità! Grazie ancora Hasbro, un’ottima trasposizione di una serie davvero molto intrigante!
Child happy, but yesterday, on the occasion of her sixth birthday, that happiness has become absolute joy: I finally found in Italy in a Gamestop store, the blind bag containing medals of various Yo-Kai and two action figures, Jibanyan Komasan: everything really well done and cute! Result? A full day spent listening the songs of battle of the various Yo-Kai tribe, but also an infinite smile on face of my little girl ... sometimes I think she is one Yo-Kai, the kind that fill you with happiness! Thanks again Hasbro, good transposition of a very intriguing series!
